DETAILS: Ali Griffiths contacted Gineico Lighting when styling her own home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Ali was seeking to create a sophisticated beach house vibe.
Ali Griffiths is a multifaceted Advertising Stylist based in Sydney, experienced in wardrobe, props, set dressing and small set builds for stills advertising and TV commercials. Working on Ali’s own home Gineico Lighting was determined to provide solutions that were edgy and slightly theatrical in scale.
The iCementi Zero51 round ceiling fixture has been used in the Entry atrium to create an edgy skylight appearance. The lightweight composite cement surround adds an element of texture that is not expected in a light fitting.

A smaller outdoor weatherproof pendant, the Miami from Antonangeli, was used outdoors. With an IP65 Rating the Miami can withstand the extremes of beachside weather, See also our article on IP Ratings Explained.
The finished effect is a blurring of the lines between indoors and outdoors that is determined by Ali Griffiths distinctive light and bright styling. The ultimate sophisticated beach house vibe created with Gineico Lighting.
