The vibrant energy of Milan Design Week 2024 buzzed throughout the city, showcasing the latest innovations and trends in design.

Here at Gineico Lighting, we were particularly excited to virtually experience the “Open Door to Outdoor” event hosted by VeniceM.

Held at their Milan Durini Design District showroom, the event celebrated VeniceM’s exciting evolution into a space that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor lighting. This innovative approach reflects the growing desire to create cohesive lighting experiences that extend beyond the walls of our homes.

The star of the show was undoubtedly the unveiling of new table versions of the ever-popular Circle series, available with or without cables. This adds a touch of functional elegance to any space, while maintaining the series’ signature minimalist design. But the true innovation lies in the Circle Table Portable, VeniceM’s first foray into portable lighting.

With its recurring and essential circular form, Circle Table Portable projects a warm, defined, and dimmable light, inviting discovery and endless possibilities. The ability to recharge and the use of durable materials make this infinity tangible.

The balanced design of Circle Table Portable isn’t just functional, it’s an invitation. It guides your hand in creating unprecedented atmospheres, the light itself gaining texture through the irregular uniqueness of handcrafted metals. Free to move from hand to hand, it establishes original connections and fosters intimacy. Whisper or converse for hours, all bathed in the soft glow of this USB-rechargeable marvel. The Circle Table Portable is more than just a lamp; it’s a way to regenerate any space and bring light to life.

While the Circle Table Portable stole the show with its innovative design, we can’t forget a long-standing favourite here at Gineico Lighting: the Bissa Suspension. This lamp embodies a captivating conversation between light and form. Its evocative, délabré burnished brass structure stands in stark contrast to the weightless trail of light it produces. A Strip LED snakes through the sinuous curves, seemingly suspended in space thanks to the adjustable steel cables. The Bissa Suspension is a testament to the power of both light and materiality to create a truly captivating lighting experience.

The innovative spirit continued with a reinvention of the Optical Suspension 1. This iconic luminaire was reimagined as a vertical suspension lighting solution, offering a striking and versatile option for both residential and commercial settings.

Of course, no VeniceM event would be complete without showcasing some of their most beloved classics. The radiant light of the Chic Table and Chic Floor lamps added a touch of warmth and character to the space, reminding everyone of VeniceM’s enduring design legacy.
